Direct To Film (DTF)

Direct To Film (DTF) printing is a similar process to screen printing, but has a different application process. DTF is mostly used for high color, low quantity orders.

Best Case For Direct To Film (DTF)

The best case for DTF printing is when you have a vectorized, color seperated, high color count design. It's particularly useful when you want a lower quantity of garments, let's just say less than 24. Our DTF is very high quality from print to press, and we make sure not to cut any corners in order to give you a high quality print even as DTF. Often confused with Vinyl and Heat Transfers, DTF is a SCREENPRINT TRANSFER that is heatpressed onto a garment.

We like to describe it compared to screenprinting. Where screenprinting is IN the shirt, DTF is ON the shirt. While the quality and color still holdup for DTF, it won't last quite as long as screenprinting.
